(Minghui.org) Falun Dafa practitioner Mr. She Yue was scheduled to be tried on December 27, 2013, in Zhongshan Court of Dalian City, but his family asked for a postponement due to his severe health problems. The judge denied the request and did not allow the lawyer to meet with his client the day before the trial.
Plainclothes and uniformed police officers monitored everyone near the courthouse on the day of the trial. Mr. She arrived in a police van at around 10:00 a.m. Mr. He was tied to a wheelchair and appeared to be unconscious. His lawyer and family refused to attend the trial. Mr. She's Condition Unknown—Lawyers Threatened
No one knows what had happened to Mr. She in the detention center. He was healthy when the lawyer went to see him three days before the trial. So why did that change within just a few days? The family and lawyer have been kept in the dark.
Officials from the local police department, Procuratorate, and the court threatened Mr. She's lawyer and his colleagues, and forbid them from seeing any Falun Gong practitioners in Dalian Detention Center. They warned them that their licenses would be canceled and their offices closed.

The Zhongshan Court judge issued arrest warrants for many practitioners who were out on bail.
For example, Mr. Wang Tao was arrested twice on the judge's orders. He once was taken from his home to the local detention center on a stretcher with an oxygen bag over his nose.
Another practitioner, Mr. Qu Bin, was arrested twice on orders from the same judge. The local detention center informed the judge that Mr. Qu was in a critical condition and should be released.
When he spoke to Mr. Qu's family, the judge claimed that he hadn't received the paperwork, and refused to release him. Mr. Qu was even put on trial while unconscious. Mr. Qu's wife said to the judge, Xu Bingli, “You aren't releasing Mr. Qu Bin. Do you want to be held responsible for murder?” After Mr. Qu was released, it was noticed that his whole body was swollen and he couldn't walk. He has become homeless to avoid further persecution.
