(Minghui.org) Students, parents, and teachers enjoyed a variety of new experiences at a multicultural festival held at a high school in Kansas City, Kansas on October 2, 2014. The Falun Gong practitioners' booth was among the many booths representing different cultures and countries, including India, South Korea, Japan, China, and Thailand.
Practitioners demonstrated the Falun Gong exercises and gave a brief introduction of the practice to the many visitors. The lovely origami lotus flowers were an instant hit.
Several attendees commented on the peaceful energy of the practitioners. Many people took flyers about the practice and the persecution in China. Some wrote down the local contact information for group practice sites so that they could learn the exercises.
