(Minghui.org) Falun Gong practitioner Ms. Hao Shuyan was tried at the Ji County Court in Tianjin on October 30, 2014. The attorney from Beijing pled not guilty on Ms. Hao's behalf. The attorney pointed out that the citizens have freedom of belief and it is not a crime for Ms. Hao to practice Falun Dafa. In the end, the court returned the case to the Procuratorate with the conclusion, "the facts and the evidence do not match."
During the trial, the attorney reminded the court and the procuratorate that the introduction of the Civil Service Law in 2013 which expressly stipulates that the police, prosecutors and judges should hold the responsibility of their cases for life. Under the climate of the persecution of Falun Gong before, many personnel from the judicial system participated in the persecution of Falun Gong and became the authorities' accomplice.
Many initiators and organizers who persecuted Falun Gong practitioners have received the heaven's punishment and have been imprisoned, such as Bo Xilai, Wang Lijun, Zhou Yongkang, Liu Jing and other high ranking 610 Office officials. The attorney wished the officials to stop trying practitioners, stop committing crimes and no longer be the CCP's scapegoats.
After a trail of an hour and a half, the court returned the case to the procuratorate with the conclusion that “the facts and the evidence do not match.”
Ms. Hao is a resident of the Qiaotou Village, Houjiaying Town, Ji County. At 2pm on July 22, 2014, she was arrested by the police from her home and was sent to the Houjiaying Town Police Station. The police also ransacked her home and took away her computer, printer and brochures. She had been detained at the Ji County Detention Center since then. On August 31, the domestic security police from Ji County Police Department then fabricated the evidence and issued an arrest warrant.
Ms. Hao's family members hired an attorney from Beijing. The domestic security police threatened the family members, and also called the Houjiaying Police Station to instruct them to put force on the family members. The police station then asked the village CCP cadres to call Ms. Hao's family to try to force them to fire the attorney.
