(Minghui.org) November 17 is Struggle for Freedom and Democracy Day, a national holiday in the Czech Republic. It celebrates the collapse of communism in the country 25 years ago. Falun Gong practitioners in Prague held an information day on November 17, 2014, to expose the ongoing brutal persecution of Falun Gong in communist China. Facts on display about the persecution reminded people of the nature of communism, and motivated them to help those who are struggling for freedom under communist power in China.
Many people obtained information at the Falun Gong display on Struggle for Freedom and Democracy Day in the Czech Republic.
The information display included an introduction to Falun Gong, facts about the persecution, and information about organ harvesting from living Falun Gong practitioners. Many people stopped to learn more about the ongoing crimes, signed to call for an end to the persecution, and asked what they could do to help practitioners.
More than 10,000 flyers were distributed. Falun Gong practitioners also demonstrated the Falun Gong exercises to soothing music.
One woman suddenly understood what she had experienced in China when a Falun Gong practitioner told her how the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) blocked foreign tourists from finding out about its crimes. She solemnly signed her name to support Falun Gong practitioners' anti-persecution work.
A gentleman who signed without any hesitation said that the outside world helped them when they were under persecution by the Communist Party, and express that they should now help others as well.
Many tourists from other countries had heard about the persecution, and said they were happy to have this opportunity to call for an end to the persecution on this special day, celebrating the collapse of the Communist Party in Czech.
