Solemn Declaration
My mother, a Falun Dafa practitioner, was recently beaten by police officers, and some of the bones in her hands were fractured.
My mother did not take any anti-inflammatory drugs, nor have her wounds stitched up. She just used saline water to clean up her swollen fingers and injuries, which quickly disappeared. I witnessed her speedy recovery.
I hereby solemnly declare that all the disrespectful things I've done toward Dafa, including throwing truth-clarification DVDs and materials into the river, was done in ignorance, and is null and void. I believe Falun Dafa is good and I will support Falun Dafa from here on out.

Solemn Declaration
All of my mother-in-law's illnesses vanished when she started practicing Falun Dafa in 1997. Five or six officers from the local police department illegally arrested her at home at around 8:00 p.m. in May 2002. They ransacked her home and attempted to force her to renounce Falun Dafa.
My mother-in-law, overwhelmed with shock, fainted and collapsed. At that time, I collaborated with the police officers' demands to write a guarantee statement, stating that my mother-in-law would cease practicing Falun Dafa.
I confess that what I did was wrong and immoral. There's absolutely nothing wrong with cultivating Falun Dafa, improving one's health, and becoming a more compassionate person. The Chinese constitution grants citizens the freedom of belief. My mother-in-law is a law-abiding citizen and should never be forced to write any so-called “guarantee statement” against her conscience.
I hereby solemnly declare that the guarantee statement I wrote for my mother-in-law is null and void. I will fully support her practice of Falun Dafa. Falun Dafa is good and Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good.
