(Minghui.org) Parramatta City Councillor Andrew Wilson spoke out about what he experienced of the Chinese consulate's unethical and illegal activities on Australian soil at a public rally on July 5, 2014.
According to Mr. Wilson, the Chinese consulate in Sydney used visa approval as leverage to threaten John Hugh, another city councillor, to withdraw his support for Falun Gong. Therefore, Mr. Hugh had to cancel his appearance at the rally supporting the over 170 million Chinese who have joined the movement to renounce the Chinese Communist Party and its affiliates.
The Chinese Consulate's activity to interfere with an elected official's appearance at a local public rally was far from diplomatic, stated Mr. Wilson.
Mr. Wilson pointed out that the Chinese people are making the same choice as the eastern Europeans – abandoning communism. He said that without communism, China's future will be bright.
