(Minghui.org) Agents from the Nanping 610 Office and the Domestic Security Division recently arrested Falun Gong practitioners Ms. Yao Jinxiang, Ms. Chen Ximei, and Ms. Hu Aijiao.
Ms. Yao Jinxiang, 72, was arrested for distributing informational materials about Falun Gong in April 2014 She was later released. Her home was ransacked and Falun Gong books and informational materials about Falun Gong were confiscated.
After that, officers frequently pressured Ms. Yao's children to force her to sign a form. The officers tried to force her to sign the form again on June 16. Illiterate and not knowing what was written on the form, Ms. Yao refused to sign. Officers called for a police vehicle to have her arrested.
Ms. Yao panicked and jumped from a balcony on the third floor to avoid arrest. Her back and right ankle were fractured, and she became paralyzed. She is now bedridden, and her children have to care for her. Despite this, officers still often harass her and threaten to have her sentenced.
Ms. Chen Ximei and Ms. Hu Aijiao were followed for distributing informational materials about Falun Gong. On September 2, 2014, officers from the Nanping Domestic Security Division waited outside Ms. Chen's home and forced their way in when she opened the door. They arrested Ms. Chen and Ms. Hu, who was caring for Ms. Chen's paralyzed mother. They also ransacked the home and confiscated Falun Gong books and informational materials.
Ms. Chen and Ms. Hu are being held in the Nanping Detention Center.
Ms. Chen, age 52, works for the Bank of China, and was recognized as an excellent employee every year. Her husband does business out of town, and their daughter attends a university out of town, too. Her paralyzed mother, age 90, is now on her own.
Ms. Hu, 60, is from Bantou in Zhanghu Town. She was arrested in 2004 for posting messages about Falun Gong and was sentenced to three years in prison. Her housing arrangement, as well as the minimum social insurance benefit and allowance, were denied to her because she did not renounce her belief.
