(Minghui.org) My sister-in-law was struck with Guillain-Barre syndrome in 2009. This disease results in the immune system mistakenly attacking one's own nerves. The nerve damage causes weakness, numbness and progressive paralysis. Her husband burst into tears upon learning about the seriousness of the disease.
I visited my sister-in-law in the hospital. My brother was there, too. He had already learned about Falun Dafa and had quit the Chinese Communist Party (CCP).
I offered her an amulet, “I have something good for you.”
Before she replied, my brother urged me to put it around her neck.
“Are you a member of any Party organizations?” I asked.
“The Youth League.”
“Would you like to quit it?”
Without hesitation she replied, “Yes!”
I advised her to sincerely repeat “Falun Dafa is good. Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance are good.”
She repeated out loud: “Falun Dafa is good. Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance are good.”
After being bedridden, she recovered in just 10 days!
She told me the story:
“The next day after you left, I had a craving for some canned fruit. I told myself to forget about it since I could not move at all, and your brother was not in the room at the time.
“My craving got stronger. So I got up and got the can from the closet, without even thinking about it. I was stunned and shouted, 'I am cured!' My roommates asked: 'Are you alright now?'
“When your brother came back, I told him that I was cured. He told me to stop joking around. I showed him the opened can, and my roommate also verified it. He then believed me.”
Her doctor learned of her story and exclaimed: “It's truly a miracle!” She was soon discharged and went home.
Her immediate family members, who had been skeptical of Falun Dafa, all withdrew from the CCP and its affiliated organizations after witnessing her miraculous recovery.
