(Minghui.org) “That's not allowed,” the authorities told Ms. Tian Haiying's (田海英) family when they sought visitation. The Jiangxi Province Women's Prison denied the visitation since Ms. Tian refused to renounce her belief in Falun Dafa.
Prison and Torture
After her fourth arrest, Ms. Tian (in her fifties) was tortured, and she suffered from hypertension and an abnormal heartbeat. However, two months later she was still sentenced to three years in prison. She has been detained in the No. 3 Prison District of the Jiangxi Women's Prison since early November 2014.
Her family visited her at the end of November 2014. Ms. Tian told them she had been handcuffed from behind and hung up for a very long time, with only her toes touching the ground. Moreover, two prisoners, who were in charge of monitoring her, abused her, deprived her of sleep, forced her to stand for a long time, and watch brainwashing programs.

Her family went to see Chief Zhang to report the torture. However, those in charge of the No. 3 Prison District were no where to be found.
Her family members went again to visit Ms. Tian in early January 2015, but the authorities denied the visitation. They claimed that Ms. Tian was not allowed to meet with her family until she gave up her belief.
The officials admitted that Ms. Tian was on a hunger strike and wore a constraining belt (a torture method), but they denied that they hung her up by handcuffs.
