(Minghui.org) Toronto resident Yang Hongpeng is asking for help to rescue her sister who was arrested in Heilongjiang Province on November 20, 2015, for filing a criminal complaint against former Chinese dictator Jiang Zemin.
Yang's elder sister Yang Hongyue, a clerk of Sanitation Department of Wuchang City Heilongjiang Province, filed her criminal complaint with the Supreme Procuratorate of China and Supreme People's Court. The complaint implicates Jiang Zemin, who ordered the persecution of Falun Gong in 1999.
Hongyue and her daughter Wang Yujiao, both Falun Gong practitioners, have experienced much harassment and incarceration because they refuse to give up their beliefs. Yang's mother, Liu Xiaoping, also a practitioner, died on March 3, 2011, after being incarcerated 4 times and tortured in custody.
The criminal complaint was mailed in May 2015 and a receipt was returned in a few days. However, while they were waiting for the case being reviewed, local authorities arrested Yang.
The authorities wanted Yang Hongyue to sign a statement promising not to sue Jiang Zemin again and not to appeal for Falun Gong.
Yang rejected the request, so she was sent to Yaziquan women's forced labor camp in Harbin City, Heilongjiang Province without any legal process nor any notification to her family of her whereabouts.
Yang Hongyue's daughter Wang Yujiao, a college student, was also harassed by the authorities, so she hid away in fear of retaliation.
Yang's husband Wang Zhong dared not to ask for the whereabouts of his wife in fear of retaliation, but he notified his sister-in-law in Toronto saying that “I can't live anymore if both my wife and daughter are jailed.”
Yang Dapeng, chief of Xunli Police Substation, Wuchang City, Heilongjiang Province, is responsible for the persecution in this case. His phone number is 18845773333.
