(Minghui.org) Elected officials in Pingtung, Taiwan, are voicing support for a groundbreaking movement in China that is seeking justice for Falun Gong.
Since May 2015, more than 190,000 people have filed lawsuits against Jiang Zemin, the former head of Chinese Communist Party, for launching the persecution of Falun Gong in 1999. More then 770,000 people in the Asia-Pacific area, including 20,000 in Pingtung County and 370,000 in Taiwan overall, have signed criminal report forms against Jiang.

Mr. Su called Falun Gong practitioners' brave legal move against Jiang a "huge step" the Chinese people are taking towards freedom and democracy. He called for everyone who loves freedom and democracy to step forward and support these lawsuits.
Mr. Su said, “Illegally harvesting organs for profit is inhumane and unspeakably cruel!” In his opinion, the government of mainland China must face up to it crimes and bring the criminals to justice if there is to be any hope for China.

He said practitioners had risked their lives to file lawsuits against Jiang and that what they did were magnificent feats that reflected their compassion. Mr. Hsu said it was time for the Chinese government to face up to its human rights problems. He believed Jiang and his gang would be punished soon.
