(Minghui.org) I developed a gumboil after I lost one of my teeth. It oozed blood whenever I ate. My doctor suggested surgery and a hospital stay of at least a week.
My neighbor, a Falun Dafa practitioner, said, “I don't think surgery is necessary. You have already withdrawn from the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and its affiliated organizations, so I suggest that you recite sincerely, ‘Falun Dafa is good, Truthfulness-Benevolence-Forbearance is good.’”
I thought this was a good idea, because it would mean I would save both time and money. And, most importantly, I would not suffer.
The gumboil started to shrink within a few days of reciting "Falun Dafa is good, Truthfulness-Benevolence-Forbearance is good" and disappeared by the time my children had secured the funds to pay for the surgery I no longer needed.
I knew that Teacher Li Hongzhi, the founder of Falun Dafa, had resolved my gumboil. Since then I have believed in Dafa, and some day I will practice it.
What had stopped me from believing in Dafa in the past was that a practitioner in my village died suddenly.
My neighbor explained that cultivation is very serious. It is quite possible that someone's life is extended because he cultivates, but he may lose his life at any time if he fails to cultivate diligently.
For example, if someone does the exercises but does not improve his xinxing, he is not a true practitioner. Also, he may be acting as a spy for the CCP and is not a practitioner at all.
Also, someone may become fearful because of the persecution launched by the Chinese regime in 1999 and renounce his belief. Such a person will die when his time comes.
Today I really believe what they explained to me, because the gumboil disappeared without surgery after I recited "Falun Dafa is good, Truthfulness-Benevolence-Forbearance is good."
