(Minghui.org) The following is a tuba solo by a Japanese Australian teenager whose parents are Falun Dafa practitioners. He would like to express his gratitude for Falun Dafa with his music on World Falun Dafa Day.
Kye is a ninth grader with a scholarship at a private grammar school in Sydney. He grew up in a family of musicians. His parents both enjoy composing and playing music, and are also Falun Dafa practitioners. Kye also reads the English version of Zhuan Falun with them and his siblings.
Kye has been playing trombone since he was young. He was influenced by his parents' music and self-cultivation, and learned how to be a good person and a disciplined musician from it. Kye has done well in school and with music. He has achieved his AMusA diploma on trombone and has performed a solo at the Sydney Opera House. He has also recorded and played music with his father to raise awareness about the persecution of Falun Dafa practitioners in China.
