(Minghui.org) When Mr. Yang Naijian's father and aunt visited him in prison on May 5, his emaciated condition worried them; he was much thinner and weaker than the last time they saw him.
They asked him about his plight in this Shandong Province prison.
He told them about his horrific experiences while incarcerated. Prison guards tortured him frequently. A few days before the family visit, guards tied him up for the entire day, not allowing him to eat or sleep. They demanded that he give up his belief in Falun Dafa. Mr. Yang refused.
He told his father and aunt about how guards tried to trick him into giving up his belief. Guards would give inmates a knife and a poisonous drink. The inmates were told to threaten suicide if he did not abandon Falun Gong. Mr. Yang didn’t fall into that trap.
Although he was steadfast in his faith, the constant onslaught left Mr. Yang scarred physically and mentally.
Mr. Yang, from Qingdao City, Shandong Province, was arrested in May 2013 and sentenced to six years in prison in August 2014. The communist government punished him not only for his belief in Falun Dafa, but also for taking pictures of re-enacted torture methods that the authorities use on practitioners in prison.
He suffered severe torture and was in critical condition after his arrest.
