(Minghui.org) I had just finished dinner when my body started to hurt and I felt that I ran a fever one day in the summer of 2005. It was as if I was coming down with a bad cold. I thought that since I am a Falun Dafa practitioner, I would be fine.
This did not stop me from doing the exercises. When doing the second set of exercises, I saw black powder falling down from the right side of my body. I realized that this was my karma, which means I'm paying off my karmic debt. The founder of Falun Dafa, whom practitioners call Master, was purifying my body.
I then ran a high fever, my bones ached and blisters appeared on my waist, They worsened, and became more painful and itchy. I knew these symptoms were associated with shingles.
Shingles, also called herpes zoster, is a virus that is characterized by a painful skin rash with blisters, is annoying, and takes about two to four weeks to heal.
A school teacher suffered because of shingles for over six months, and a vegetable seller was in pain from the shingles for five months despite injections. However such reaction is generally outside the norm.
My husband almost panicked, but I quoted Master, “The cause of your illness has been removed, and what remains is only this bit of black qi that will come out on its own to let you suffer some and have some pain.” (Zhuan Falun)
I told him that I have Master to take care of me, so I will be fine. I just ignored the pain and did not stop with whatever I had to do.
All the red dots associated with shingles were on the left side of my waist, but nothing was on the right side the following day. The fever was gone after another three days, and I was in less pain and the blisters dried up.
The shingles were gone within two weeks. I told my sisters about the blister episode and they were amazed. They said that Falun Dafa is great.
