(Minghui.org) In the Chinese city of Tangshan, over 4,600 residents signed a petition in 2014 urging the CCP (Chinese Communist Party) to stop harvesting organs from Falun Dafa practitioners for profit.
According to Dr. Torsten Trey, executive director of DAFOH (Doctors Against Forced Organ Harvesting), more than 130,000 prisoners in China have been killed for their organs over the last 15 years. The vast majority of these prisoners were Falun Dafa practitioners, guilty of nothing more than refusing to give up their beliefs.
Below are some comments from those who signed the petition.
“Falun Dafa is great!” One lady said to a Falun Dafa practitioner as she signed the petition and, as is common in China, affixed her fingerprint beside it. The lady's husband, who also signed, asked, “Why hasn't the communist regime been condemned yet? Once they're out, you'll all be free to practice.”
On another occasion a lady sighed, “Falun Dafa helps people to regain a sense of morality. Why on earth doesn't the CCP allow people to practice it?”
When a practitioner was telling several workmen about the petition, one of them said, “Take it out, I'll sign it. I'm not afraid of the CCP. It should have collapsed long ago.” He encouraged his coworkers to hang onto their copies of the Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party.
In another area, a farmer exclaimed, “I'll definitely sign this! Why wouldn't I? This is a petition that saves lives.”
A lady who not only signed herself, but told her whole family to sign, stated, “Falun Dafa practitioners are kind people and can get along with anyone. They make amulets and calendars for us at their own expense. They're such nice people--exactly the kind of people our society needs.”
One student who signed said, “I'm giving my support for the sake of justice.”
One elderly gentleman praised the Falun Dafa practitioner who was petitioning by saying, “You're doing a great job! Spread the news to more people!”
