Falun Dafa practitioners raise awareness about the persecution at the Chinese Embassy in Dublin, Ireland
The 16-year long persecution of Falun Dafa has resulted in the deaths of thousands at the hands of the Chinese regime. Thousands more Falun Dafa practitioners have been forced to flee China to avoid persecution, and are unable to return. Falun Dafa practitioners in Ireland state they have not been able to go back to visit their families.
Zhao Ming and Liu Feng were studying in Ireland when the persecution started. They traveled to Beijing to urge Chinese authorities to redress the brutal persecution campaign, but were arrested. They were jailed and tortured in forced labor camps in Beijing and Dalian City separately.
Ms. Zhao Li's older sister Ms. Zhao Huiru was subjected to continuous torture in a forced labor camp, and eventually died in 2005. On behalf of her sister, Ms. Zhao Li filed a criminal complaint against Jiang Zemin. Details about Ms. Zhao Huiru's death are available here in the article Practitioner Zhao Huiru from Shenyang Dies as a Result of Persecution.
Those participating in the peaceful protest at the Chinese embassy in Dublin expressed their wishes for Jiang Zemin to be tried in court for genocide.
