(Minghui.org) Police from Chifeng City of Inner Mongolia broke into the home of Falun Gong practitioners Mr. Zhao Yu and Ms. Zhang Guizhi on July 7, 2015. They ransacked the home and confiscated Falun Gong books and other belongings.
The couple was released after a short interrogation. But, the police did not return any of the confiscated items.
The couple and their two daughters, Zhao Fuxia and Zhao Chunxia went to the Bairin Left Banner police department on July 10, to ask for their Falun Gong books and all other confiscated items.
A police officer threatened to throw them out of the police station. But, the family was not scared and insisted that their books be returned immediately.
An officer told them that their books were locked up by the head of the domestic security police who was out of town for a conference in Chifeng City.
Mr. Zhao and Ms Zhang refused to leave until they got their books back. Finally, an officer called the head of the police, who promised to return their books the next day.
The family of four went back to the police department the next day. The police returned all Falun Gong books, an MP3 player, banners and currency.
