(Minghui.org) I saw an elderly man sitting on a stone bench on the square. When he saw me, he picked up his coat and signaled for me to sit beside him.
My first question to him was if he had heard of the quitting the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) movement, and that it could bring blessings. He looked at me and showed me that he was wearing a Falun Dafa amulet around his neck.
We chatted and he told me that he retired as deputy director from the Public Security Bureau. He understood the facts about Dafa, but seemed to be unsure about some aspects. He wondered if people gave me money.
I responded, “Do you think everyone acts like CCP members, and only do things when given money?”
I then told him that I became healthy after I practiced Falun Dafa, and that I survived two car accidents. I said that I was thrown seven meters, and not hurt, but the car front was totaled.
I continued by telling him about my father-in-law who was diagnosed with accumulation of blood in the cerebral vessels, and loss of brain cells. He also had dementia and there was no known cure. Therefore, I told him to recite, “Falun Dafa is good” and “Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good.” He recovered.
I asked the man if he persecuted Dafa before he retired. He said that he was not assigned to the division with that responsibility. When I asked him if he would have persecuted Dafa while he was working, and he was honest about it. He said that he did not know what he would have done at that time.
I asked him if he and his family had quit the CCP, and he said yes.
“If officers in the public security and judicial systems can learn the facts about Dafa like you,” I said, “there would be fewer people eliminated alongside the CCP, when it loses its power. I hope you will tell these facts to all your friends in the public security and judicial systems.” He nodded his head.
