(Minghui.org) Fellow practitioners come to me for whatever they need. They trust me and know that I am always willing to help. They also feel comfortable and safe in my home because they know my entire family supports me in my practice of Falun Dafa.
My father-in-law is 90, and he also practices. His vision and hearing are excellent, and his mind is clear and sharp. He assists me often by taking messages from other practitioners when I am not home.
My husband is not a practitioner, but he helps me whenever he can. In order to free up more of my time for work related to ending the persecution of Falun Gong, he does a lot of housework and takes care of the older people in our family. He is always kind to the practitioners who come to our home and never complains.
We are very close to my son and daughter-in-law. Although they are not practitioners, they often help me with Dafa-related work. For instance, when fellow practitioners brought me articles for our local experience-sharing conference, my daughter-in-law help me organize and print the papers.
One day she asked me why so many people seek me out for help with just about any problem. “I want to help in whatever way I can, and they know it,” I replied.
My son is a businessman and always finds time to help me as well. Sometimes I do not want to bother him, but he just smiles and says, “I am doing it for you, Mother. It's no trouble.”
My sister-in-law and I went to our mother-in-law's home for the Chinese New Year. After midnight I went out to put up “Falun Dafa is good” notices. When I came back, she asked me where I had gone. I told her and she said, “Oh you should have asked me--I would have gone, too.”
Then she asked if I had more notices. She wanted to put them up in her apartment building. The next day she proudly told me where she had placed them.
Another time several of us went to a relative's wedding. On our way back I told them to let me out of the car so that I could distribute some Falun Dafa materials in that area.
“I will meet you at the other end of the village,” I said.
My sister-in-law replied, “I'll go with you.”
“Thank you, but I can handle this myself. If you want to help, though, you can put brochures in bags for me.”
After we were done, my younger sister's husband said that he was buying a new car, and I was welcome to borrow it whenever I need it.
Sometimes local practitioners needed to meet, and for safety reasons, we went to my older sister's home. She and her husband always welcomed us all. Then, this past May, my sister began to practice Falun Dafa.
Nearly 100 of my relatives have quit the Chinese Communist Party. They have all chosen a bright futures for themselves.
