(Minghui.org) Some police officers no longer persecute Falun Gong practitioners learning the facts about the practice and the persecution. Here are a couple of examples that have been reported to us.
Listen and Do Nothing
(Fuyu County, Heilongjiang Province) I met a young policeman concerning work related matters a few days ago.
After we'd finished our business, I talked to him about Falun Gong. “Actually we don't handle Falun Gong issues anymore in my police station.” he said, “Whenever someone reports on Falun Gong, we pick up the phone, listen, hang up, and do nothing.”
Then he said, “When I was on duty, which included answering phone calls, I got a phone report about a Falun Gong practitioner. I told the person that we do not handle Falun Gong issues anymore and that they shouldn't concern themselves with them, either.”
Many policemen have understood the truth. They don't persecute Falun Gong anymore and even ask others not to.
No Problem with Falun Gong But with the Suppressor
(Liaoning Province) I was in a crowded bus a few days ago. A young man got up to exit the bus and an old man took his seat.
“Finally you got a seat,” I said. He said that he did not mind since he could put his things on the floor. I said that the seats were clearly marked for the elderly and pregnant women and that I had taught my child never to take such a seat.
The man smiled and told me that he must be a good child and that heaven would recognize him as such. I knew that this man understood the facts about Falun Gong.
He was 70 years old and retired from the police force. He had worked in a few city branches and could not be corrupted. He detests the current social climate.
I asked his opinion of Falun Gong, to which he said, “No problem with Falun Gong, but with the suppressor.” People in the bus listened quietly.
When this man got off the bus, I told him, “You must already know that 'Falun Dafa is good,' right?” He answered that he did.
