(Minghui.org) Kingston is a historic township with royal traditions located to the southwest of London. The annual Kingston Carnival is showcase of a diverse of cultures and a promotion of tradition, with activities including a parade, stage performances and exhibitions. Local Falun Dafa practitioners participated in the carnival again this year, introducing many to the practice and the persecution it faces in China.

The Falun Dafa booth featured banners and display boards. Four practitioners demonstrated the Falun Dafa exercises all day long, while others passed out fliers and talked to those who visited the booth.
The exercises, with their graceful movements demonstrated to a background of the serene exercise music, attracted many festival goers.
After hearing practitioners talk to them about the persecution, many signed a petition calling for an end to forced organ harvesting atrocities. Many also expressed their interest in learning the Falun Dafa exercises.
“I have been interested in Buddhism and Taoism for a long time. I was thinking of finding a practice like Taichi or yoga this morning. Then I met you. I believe it was destined to happen. Falun Gong has everything I am looking for,” said one visitor to the Falun Dafa booth.
“I can hardly believe that people are persecuted because they practice an exercise like this!”
Falun Dafa practitioners have participated in the Kingston Carnival for the past 6 years.
