Former Head of Detention Center: “I Will Do Whatever I Can to Help”
By a Minghui correspondent in Jilin Province, China
An illegally detained Falun Dafa practitioner contacted his family earlier this year asking for clothes. His family members were concerned that the clothes would not reach him, so they asked a friend who used to run a detention center what they should do.
The friend said that he would ask a former colleague to deliver the clothes and that he believed the practitioner would soon be reunited with his family.
“The persecution of Falun Dafa will be redressed in the near future,” he said. “The international community is very concerned about practitioners and how they are being treated. Jiang Zemin will soon be arrested and all practitioners will be released. I will do whatever I can to help.”
Jiang Zemin is the former head of the Chinese Communist Party who initiated the persecution of Falun Dafa.
Police Help Elderly Practitioner Escape from Danger
By a Minghui correspondent in Shandong Province, China
An elderly Dafa practitioner from the Muping District in Yantai city went to a village to post fliers about Falun Dafa and the persecution. Several villagers surrounded her and one of them said that he was going to report her to the authorities.
A police car pulled up and an officer told her to get inside. She refused, saying that she had not broken any law.
The officer assured her that he had no intention of arresting her, so she got into the vehicle.
The officer told his partner that she is a Falun Dafa practitioner, and that they shouldn't get involved.
“We should at least take her out of the village,” said the other officer. “If she stays here, the villagers might report her again.”
They gave the practitioner a ride out of the village, and she returned home safely.
