(Minghui.org) While I attended the Fa Conference in San Fransisco this year I noticed some practitioners exhibiting behavior that seemed inappropriate to me. Such behavior could give a negative impression of Falun Dafa to onlookers. The following are examples of behavior that I feel are not appropriate for a Dafa practitioner.
Behavior at the Airport
Practitioners were taking off their shoes and sitting down to meditate wherever they wanted.
Reading or reciting verses out loud when sending forth righteous thoughts or reading Falun Dafa books, also out loud.
Speaking to each other in a loud voice near other passengers, totally disregarding others' boundaries.
While performing Dafa exercises they played the exercise music out loud instead of using headphones.
Behavior at the Hotel
Performing the exercises, with music playing, in the hotel courtyard at 4:00 a.m.
Behavior at the Hotel Restaurant
Pushy and impatient instead of waiting their turn while selecting items from the breakfast buffet, behavior that was embarrassing to others in the restaurant.
Many practitioners wear Falun Dafa clothing during their attendance at Fa conference activities. Our words and actions represent the image of Dafa. When we exhibit kind behavior, it will give people a good impression of the practice.
When improper behaviors are displayed, regardless of how trivial they are, others might perceive Dafa in a negative way thus missing the opportunity to learn what Falun Dafa practice is all about. This is a serious matter!
I would like to kindly remind practitioners to pay attention to every detail of their behavior, every word and deed. We all know that it is difficult to save a sentient being; do not cause someone to lose the opportunity.
Please kindly point out anything inappropriate in my sharing.
