(Minghui.org) Two Falun Gong practitioners shared what they saw as they worked to inform the public of the illegality of the Chinese Communist Party’s persecution of Falun Gong.
Fairgoers Eager to Get Falun Gong Informational Materials
We went to a fair to distribute DVDs about Falun Gong. We had just passed out a few when a crowd quickly gathered around and began to snatch the DVDs from us. In no time, all the copies we had were gone.
A man who came later was disappointed when I told him that there was no more DVD's left. He even checked my bag to make sure that I wasn't holding any back.
On our way home, we saw a woman holding four of the DVDs. I stopped to see if she would give her extras away. She indeed gave one to a vendor. I was still worried that she might waste the rest of them, so I approached her and offered to help distribute the remaining copies. She raised the DVDs high above her head and said, “Let me do it! Let me do it!”
Elderly Man Looks Forward to New Falun Gong Materials
I went to shop at a farmers’ market and talked to people about Falun Gong.
A young pomegranate vendor agreed that Falun Gong was good and that there was no reason for Jiang Zemin to initiate the persecution. I told him that no law in China criminalizes Falun Gong and gave him a variety of Falun Gong informational materials.
An elderly man passing by overheard our conversation. He said, “I want some flyers, too! I’ve been looking for them for a long time.” I gave him some materials and helped him quit the Chinese Communist Party and its affiliated organizations.
He asked for my cell phone number and I declined. I told him that my phone was likely tapped and I didn’t want him to be implicated. He gave me his number and address instead. He even showed me his ID to assure me of his identity.
I contacted him ten days later to give him more Falun Gong materials. He kept reminding me, “Don’t forget me whenever you have new materials!”
