Falun Gong practitioners in San Francisco held a colorful parade to wish the local community a happy Chinese New Year. The procession included music played by the Divine Land Marching Band, banners extending good wishes, and heavenly maiden dancers.
Since the persecution of Falun Gong began in 1999, Ms. Fang has been arrested and detained many times and spent 3 years in prison. She is now being detained for filing a lawsuit against Jiang Zemin.
The teacher was charged with “using a cult organization to undermine law enforcement,” a standard pretext used by the Chinese Communist Party to frame Falun Gong practitioners.
