(Minghui.org) Ms. Chen Qiaosi, 65 years old, from the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, was stopped near her home by Liu Xiaolei, deputy head of the Taibus Domestic Security Division, around 4 p.m. on February 22, 2016. Liu grabbed her bag and took out a newspaper. He then searched Ms. Chen, and found a photocopy of the lawsuit against Jiang Zemin, the former Chinese dictator, in her pocket.
Zhang, the village Party secretary, and another village officer, as well as Liu and three officers from the Taibus Police Department broke into Ms. Chen's home the next day.
The officers ransacked her home. They looked under bedding, the bedside cabinet, in wardrobes, kitchen cabinets, and the entire kitchen. They even took a New Year's painting off the wall. They did not find anything they thought they could use against her.
They threatened Ms. Chen and told her that they would search her 80-year-old mother's home. When the Chen family strongly objected to searching the elderly woman's home, the four officers relented. Instead, they demanded that Ms. Chen sign some documents, which she refused. The officers left after the village Party secretary signed the the documents on her behalf.
