(Minghui.org) The Chinese Communist Party’s Annual “Two-Sessions” are held every year by the National People's Congress and the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference. This year's meetings started on March 3, 2016.
During the time of the meetings, the communist government in the Langfang area of Hebei Province ordered town and township governments to display posters in public slandering Falun Gong. This latest anti-Falun Gong campaign, however, proved very unpopular.
A Falun Gong practitioner asked his village Party secretary to remove the defamatory posters. The secretary explained that the posters had been assigned to him by a higher-level office from the province, and he therefore had no choice but to leave them on display.
The practitioner explained that displaying the posters would not only bring bad luck to the villagers, but especially to the Party secretary himself. The Party secretary then began to criticize the Party for focusing on the wrong issues. He promised to have the posters removed after a visit by a high-level group in a few days.
Not satisfied, the practitioner decided to take matters into his own hands. But when he saw a surveillance camera aimed at the poster, he decided to come back later when he was more prepared. When he returned in the afternoon, however, the poster was gone.
It turned out that another villager (a non-practitioner) had removed it in the plain sight of other witnesses.
