(Minghui.org) I am a young Falun Dafa practitioner. Late last year, I had the opportunity to hand out Minghui calendars to people I met on the street. I find that more and more Chinese people are becoming receptive to learning the facts about Falun Dafa.
Below are some instances of what I encountered while handing out calendars.
A young woman handed me an advisement flyer. Of course I took the opportunity to give her a Minghui calendar. I told her "Falun Dafa is good! Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good!” Her eyes suddenly lit up and she accepted the calendar with a smile.
I handed a calendar to an older lady. After she learned that the calendars contain information about Falun Dafa, she said, “Please be careful and pay attention to your safety.” I thanked her and walked a short distance away. When I stopped and turned around, I saw that she was still watching me. I walked back and said, “Falun Dafa is good!” She replied, “Yes it is—it is great!”
An older farmer once sat down in a doorway near where I was handing out calendars. I walked over to him and handed him one. He asked what it was. I said, “Please remember that 'Falun Dafa is good; Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good!'” He immediately understood that it was a Falun Dafa calendar, and his pensive look disappeared. "Yes, it is good!” he said. He happily took the calendar with him.
There was a trash collector coming down the street one morning, heading towards me. When I first saw him, I did not want to give him a calendar because I thought he might just throw it out or sell it as waste paper. But as he got closer, I remembered that he might be a person who has a predestined relationship with Dafa, so I walked over and offered him a calendar.
I opened the calendar and showed it to him. Once he saw that it was a Falun Dafa calendar, he smiled. “Wonderful,” he said. “May I have one?” I said yes of course. “I will take good care of it,” he replied, and he walked on with his load of trash and recyclables.
One day I handed a calendar to a man who had a cold look on his face. He looked at it and soon realized it was a Falun Dafa calendar. His face warmed up and he accepted it with a smile. I said, “You can hang it on your bedroom wall, and it will keep you safe.” He was pleased and replied, “That's a great idea, thank you.”
