(Minghui.org) I live in the capital city of a province with a population of 8 million. The scale of the persecution of Falun Gong practitioners by the communist authorities here was among the worst in China.
For years, armed police vehicles patrolled downtown every day, and police cars with flashing lights were stationed at major intersections around the clock. The city was filled with terror.
Over the years, however, practitioners have been steadfast in letting the public know about the persecution with posters in the city and suburbs. The posters' content was updated frequently.
After practitioners began to file lawsuits against the former Chinese Communist Party leader Jiang Zemin for persecuting Falun Gong, we immediately began to broadcast the news. We started in the residential areas and later reached the government and police buildings.
Using a new method invented by a local practitioner, we are now able to put up a poster within 20 seconds. Thousands of posters quickly appeared all over the city. The inventor alone has put up more than 400 posters.
Soon afterwards, I noticed that both the armed police patrol and the police checkpoints vanished. A Mao Zedong statue was even removed from a famous park.
Recently, the provincial headquarters of the public security department issued a statement to document all practitioners who filed lawsuits against Jiang. However, the local police did not carry out this order.
