(Minghui.org) In our little town in Shandong Province, several Falun Gong practitioners have filed lawsuits against former Chinese dictator Jiang Zemin since 2015. Procurate officials gave their names to the local police station.
However, after years of persistently clarifying the truth to them, local police know that Falun Gong is good. The police station director did not send any officers to harass practitioners. The 610 Office pressured the police to do something this May. No police officers or local government officials wanted to get involved. They just phoned a couple of the practitioners' family members. They could not persecute anyone in our town.
Elderly Practitioner's Son Chases Away Police
A Falun Gong practitioner in her 70s filed a lawsuit against Jiang last October. A week later, more than ten employees from the local 610 Office, Domestic Security Division, and the local police and residential community office broke into her house, and attempted to arrest her.
When her son happened to return home, he saw his mother sitting on the floor cradling her Falun Gong books in her arms while the officers sat on her sofa. Pointing at the officers, the practitioner's son shouted, “Who are you? Why are you sitting on my mom's sofa while she sits on the floor?” When he took out his cell phone to take photos of the officers, and asked their names, they became frightened and fled.
