(Minghui.org) A female practitioner from Tianjin was recently arrested. After police learned about Falun Gong and the persecution, they helped her get released.
Ms. Wu, in her fifties, took to the streets every day to tell people about Falun Gong and the illegal persecution.
Recently, she talked to a young man who happened to be a plainclothes police officer. He called two other officers and arrested Ms. Wu.
She was taken to the police station. When the director came to see her, she told him about the goodness of Falun Gong and how her late-stage cancer was cured through the practice.
The officers in the room did not say a word after listening to her, but they dared not release her and had to send her to the detention center.
At the detention center she was given a physical examination, which showed high-blood pressure. The police wanted to release her, so they asked the detention center officials to give them a refusal letter based on her physical examination result. The detention officials refused and claimed that they needed a letter confirming the diagnosis.
The police brought Ms. Wu home then took her cancer diagnosis document from ten years ago. The detention center official would not accept it since it was outdated. The police found a doctor who knew Ms. Wu, who issued a diagnosis letter. When they received the statement, detention officials issued the detention rejection.
The police expressed their relief to Ms. Wu. “You can go home now.” As she was walking away, the police director said to her, “I wish you good health!”
