(Minghui.org) Ukrainian media, including the news agency Unian, the newspaper Today, an Odessa TV station, and others, reported the most recent investigation updates on the organ harvesting crimes in China on June 30, 2016.
Unian's story, based on a human rights report written by former Canadian secretary of State David Kilgour, human rights lawyer David Matas, and journalist Ethan Gutman, said it was estimated that 900,000 to 1.5 million transplants took place in China from 2000/2001 to 2015, which led to the deaths of tens of thousands of Falun Gong practitioners.
There are 60,000 to 100,000 organ transplant operations in China each year, with the majority of the organs being forcibly taken from Falun Gong practitioners. As of last year, China was still using organs from executed prisoners.
Today’s story was also based on the same human rights report that pointed out that the Chinese communist regime's genocide (of Falun Gong practitioners) has continued for more than a decade.
The Odessa TV station invited guests on the Odessa Tonight program to discuss Falun Gong and the current status of the persecution in China. The 30-minute program played videos of Falun Gong practitioners' activities in Kiev last year.
The program introduced Falun Gong (also called Falun Dafa) as an ancient Chinese cultivation practiced that was first introduced to the public by Mr. Li Hongzhi in 1992. In seven short years, nearly 100 million Chinese people were practicing the exercise.
The practitioners follow the principles of “Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance” to raise their moral standard and become better people in society. At the same time, they practice five sets of gentle exercise movements to improve health.
Falun Gong practitioners are not extremists. People are free to join or leave the group. The principles of “Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance” have been embraced by both east and west as universal values.
The host and guests concluded that the communist regime's “slaughter on demand” organ harvesting atrocity is beyond humankind's moral limits.
