(Minghui.org) Falun Gong practitioners continue to talk to people about their cultivation practice and the principles of Truthfulness,Compassion, Forbearance that they follow. Thus, more and more people, including the police, no longer are persecuting practitioners.
An elderly practitioner was telling people about the persecution of Falun Gong in a long distance bus terminal. Suddenly, a middle-aged man grabbed her arm and shouted: “You are against the Party. I am a veteran of the army, and I am calling the police.”
The man dialed 110 (China’s 911): “I caught a Falun Gong practitioner who is telling people to quit the Party. Come and arrest her.”
The police dispatcher asked for his location, told him no police car was available and that he needed to wait.
The practitioner remained calm and told the man to let go of her arm. She also took the opportunity to tell him about Falun Gong.
When no police car showed up after five minutes the man called the 110 number again. The dispatcher told him that a car was on its way to the new urban bus terminal.
The man became agitated and told him that the location was the old town bus terminal. The dispatcher told him to be patient.
The practitioner said: “The police officers all know that persecuting Falun Gong is wrong. No one will come.”
Several bystanders were watching and laughing at the man.
“You don’t have to grab my arm,” the lady said. “I won’t run away. People are laughing at you.”
Eight minutes passed, and still no police car. The man dialed again. The dispatcher said: “It takes a long time for our car to go from the new urban station to your place, please wait.”
The man began to realize that no police car was on its way. He said to the dispatcher since the police was not interested he was not going to wait.
He loosened his grip on the practitioner’s arm, turned around and left.
