(Minghui.org) I was introduced to Falun Dafa in 1999. After reading Zhuan Falun I immediately knew that this book must be cherished and that I must take every opportunity to read it.
I joined a Dafa group practice site near my home. Practitioners could either come in the morning or in the evening, and I decided to join both groups.
Classes at which practitioners showed Master's Fa lecture videos were held often. I could not listen enough to Master. Therefore, I went to the classes as many times as I could. I felt Dafa's power as well as Master's strengthening all the time.
Evil Will Never Triumph Over the Righteous
Unfortunately, just a few months after I started to practice Falun Dafa, the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) launched the persecution of this spiritual practice. With the intent to malign Dafa and Master, the government-owned media broadcasted the Party's propaganda on television every day.
The Chinese people believed the lies. This made me so sad, so I told people that whatever they heard was untrue. Unfortunately, they did not believe me.
This spurred me into action. I purchased a box of chalk and wrote on walls, utility poles, bulletin boards and wherever it would catch people's attention: “Falun Dafa is Good; Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is Good; Restore Falun Dafa's Good Reputation,” as well as “Restore Master Li's Good Reputation!”
I was certain that evil would never triumph over the righteous. Sooner or later everyone will know the truth, and we will definitely rectify anything that is wrong.
One day, I was ready to go out and distribute a bag full of Dafa truth-clarifying materials. At that moment, my husband walked through the door. He took the bag and said that he would distribute the materials.
I insisted on doing it and told him that I would return shortly. It did not take very long for me to hand out all the Dafa informational materials.
When I returned home, my husband could not believe that I had distributed all the materials. He pointed out that only seven minutes had passed since I had left.
Another time, I was running late to pick up our child at school, because I was looking for software to break through the Chinese internet blockade. As it turned out, it took only 11 minutes to get to the school, a lot less time than normal.
I knew that this was due to the extraordinary power of Dafa. From then on, I became more confident. I knew it was closely related to Fa study. Since then, I have read the Fa, memorized and recited the Fa, and followed Master's words to do everything that He has asked of us practitioners.
Diligent Practitioners Will Succeed
One night, I passed by a flour factory when distributing materials. There was a utility pole on each side of the gate. I thought that this was great for putting up some Dafa stickers.
First I put a copy of informational materials outside the gate. Then, I sent forth one thought, “Let people who have a predestined relationship with Dafa take the materials, but others will not notice them.”
Then, I was going to paste Dafa stickers on each of the utility poles. But on each side was a long, wide ditch that kept me from reaching the pole.
I thought, “Master is beside me. I will definitely make it.” I jumped over the ditch.
As soon as I landed, I heard footsteps. I sent forth a thought towards that person, “Do not turn this way.” The person walked away.
After I pasted the stickers on both utility poles, I went home safe and sound.
Master said:
“...we're a group of cultivators, and we cultivate divinity, so of course miracles have indeed happened.”(“Teaching the Fa at the 2004 Western U.S. Fa Conference: from Teaching the Fa at the Conference V)
As a Dafa practitioner, I have not expressed enough gratitude towards Master. But, I know that only by practicing genuine cultivation and doing the three things can we meet Master's expectations.
