(Minghui.org) Three touring companies of Shen Yun Performing Arts presented 18 sold-out performances in New York, Atlanta, and San Jose between January 11 and 15, 2017. Two of the shows were added to the schedule to meet the demand.

New Yorkers “Exhilarated” and “Overwhelmed”

“Really truly impressive,” said Mark Kang, the senior vice president of Worldwide Distribution for INSP Networks.
“You feel like you are being educated through the stories and the music. That really inspires you and especially when it’s revealing the truth,” he said.

“I was just overwhelmed by the color of it, the vibrancy, the brilliance and how it was all completely blended together,” said Bob Rose, a public relations executive.
“Inspired, awed, I was drawn into it like I was in a fantasy world,” he continued. “It’s just unbelievable.”

“I feel exhilarated...I was lifted music-wise,” said Angel Justiniano, a musician and the co-director of Swing Sextet.
“The music was incredible. The way that the Western and Asian music [were combined] together, and they did the fusion sound—I thought that was incredible,” he added.
Atlanta Audience Members Find Shen Yun “Compelling” and “Gorgeous”
Shen Yun performed at the Cobb Energy Performing Arts Center in Atlanta, GA. The originally planned five performances from January 12 to 15 were nearly sold out several weeks in advance. The local presenter added a show for January 15 to meet demand.

“Compelling...The athleticism of these people is just incredible,” said Frank Ros, the Vice President for Spanish Strategy of Coca Cola.
“I was amazed at the vividness of the color and costumes. I thought they were gorgeous,” Mr. Ros added.

“The ethnic culture has been preserved,” said prima ballerina Alexis Feit.
“For technical difficulty, dancing with other objects and performing in the way you would as if it were effortless, any of the dances that showcased props, those are very hard to do,” she said from a dancer's perspective. “Usually, you can spot where a dancer has a little hiccup. I didn't see one!"
