(Minghui.org) Shen Yun Performing Arts began the Taiwan leg of its Asia Tour on February 15, 2017, with over 30 shows scheduled in seven cities. Prior to the performances, nearly one hundred elected officials from various levels of government extended official welcome statements and congratulatory banners.
Shen Yun Performing Arts received welcome statements and banners from eight central government officials, 18 municipal government officials, 62 legislators, and five city councilors.
Banners from officials in the central government: Premier of the Republic of China, Lin Chuan; President of the Legislative Yuan, Su Jia-chyuan; President of the Examination Yuan, Wu Jin-lin; and Vice President of the Legislative Yuan, Tsai Chi-chang.
Officials from the central government sent banners acclaiming the artistic level of Shen Yun Performing Arts. The banner from the Premier of the Republic of China, Lin Chuan, reads, “Displaying the Heavens on Earth; Dancing Touches the Heart.” The banner from the President of the Legislative Yuan, Su Jia-chyuan, reads, “Delightful for the Heart and Joyful for the Eyes.”
