(Minghui.org) A Dongying City resident was arrested on March 9, 2017 while applying for retirement benefits at her company, Shengli Oilfield.
Ms. Niu Aiqing had been on the run since she made a successful escape from a labor camp in 2007. She was illegally incarcerated in a forced labor camp in 2006 for refusing to renounce Falun Gong, a spiritual discipline being persecuted by the Chinese communist regime. Unable to bear the inhumane torture at the labor camp, she managed to break free and had since been on the wanted list.
Two officers took her to Binhai Police Department after seizing her this March. They tried, unsuccessfully, to have her undergo a medical examination. The local detention center declined to admit her, citing lack of required medical examinations results.
One female officer used her own urine to pass off as Ms. Niu’s, and obtained some medical records, which the police then presented to the detention center on their second try to get Ms. Niu detained. She was savagely beaten when she alerted the detention center guards of the fraudulent medical documents.
The police directed the detention center guards to punish Ms. Niu. The guards put her in a straightjacket, causing her limbs to swell. She was in so much pain that she hit her head on the floor, after which the guards put a helmet on her. She cried for help, only to have her mouth stuffed with a rag.
The guards used a syringe to inject water into the rag and threatened to inject urine, menstrual blood, or even feces to the rag if Ms. Niu didn’t stop yelling. They later replaced the rag with some cabbage and whipped Ms. Niu about the face and buttocks with shoes.
Her family noticed she was mentally disoriented and behaving abnormally by the time they were asked to pick her up on March 11.
