(Minghui.org) After my company’s new office building was finished, the director was looking for a person to lead the audit for the construction. In China today, it's not easy to find someone who can be fair and just when it comes to an audit and not take bribes.
When he met with others leaders in the company, they recommended me.
At that time, I had been practicing Falun Dafa for more than a year. Guided by the Fa's principles, I had distanced myself from the degenerate aspects of society and improved my moral values. My colleagues and supervisors knew that I was very honest and upright. They trusted me and thought I would be a good candidate to be in charge of the audit.
I took the job very seriously and verified each project carefully. Even when I had disagreements with the construction team, we were able to resolve them calmly and fairly.
A month later, the construction team representative said, “Your director found the right person to do the audit. She is so honest.”
They originally planned to bribe me, but gave up the idea after working with me.
“You Falun Dafa practitioners aren't like other people. I truly admire you!” the representative said.
I told her that Dafa teaches us to follow Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance and to be a better person.
“I want to learn from you and be a good person,” she said to me.
In the audit, I helped my company save more than 3 million yuan in costs. My director was very happy with my work and praised me several times at department meetings.
After the persecution started, I went to Beijing to stand up for Falun Dafa and was arrested. My supervisors came to Beijing to bring me back. On the way home, they treated me like always and no one said anything bad to me.
When my director was pressured by the higher-ups to talk to me, he told me, “We know it's impossible for you to give up your faith, and we know exactly what kind of person you are.” Although he didn't say it, I could tell that he was trying everything within his power to protect me.
I was later arrested again and sentenced to prison for talking to people about the persecution. I went back to my company to visit my supervisors after I was released.
They were happy to see me: “We were just talking about you the other day. It's ridiculous that they sentenced you for your belief. It's just too much!”
When I left, they saw me off and watched for a long time as I walked away. I knew they had endured a lot of pressure because of me. I really wish them well.
