The exhibition was located in the spacious entrance hall of the Legislative Office Building. More than 20 paintings depicting the practice of Falun Gong and the persecution of the practice in China were placed on both sides of the hall, with the immense marble walls and floors of the building serving as a backdrop.
Quite a number of New York State senators and New York State Assembly members had the opportunity to view the exhibition. Several public officials greeted the practitioners with enthusiasm, and a number of them had their photo taken with practitioners.

Many state government employees who work in the building and members of the public who were visiting the building for business paused to look around the exhibition. Many people signed a petition calling for an end to the Chinese Communist Party's (CCP) brutal persecution of Falun Gong.

Every Tuesday is known as Lobby Day in the legislative building, so constituents normally visit their senator or Assembly representative on Tuesdays to discuss issues they are concerned about.
A great deal of foot traffic passed through the entrance hall on Tuesday, allowing many people to encounter the exhibition and learn more about Falun Gong. Many people also signed the petition.

A young woman was live broadcasting her visit to the Legislative Office Building on her social media page. She paused as soon as she saw the exhibition. After she finished viewing the paintings, she signed the petition.
She asked the practitioners for permission to live broadcast the exhibition while asking them questions about the paintings. A few hours later, she walked passed the exhibition again. She excitedly told practitioners that she had received a lot of feedback about her live broadcast of the exhibition. Many people wanted to know more about Falun Gong.
A state government employee came to the exhibition to look at the paintings almost every day. She stayed in front of a painting titled The Uncompromising Spirit for a long time. When a practitioner stepped forward to tell her about the CCP's persecution of Falun Gong in China, the woman expressed her condemnation of the persecution. On the last day of the exhibition, she again came to the exhibition and was reluctant to leave. She was pleased when the practitioners told her that they would be back with another exhibition next year.
