(Minghui.org) Ten Falun Gong practitioners in Hulin City, Heilongjiang Province were arrested and five harassed on July 12 and 13, 2020, respectively, for their faith.
Falun Gong, also known as Falun Dafa, is an ancient spiritual and meditation discipline that has been persecuted by the Chinese communist regime since 1999.
The ten practitioners were arrested while talking to people about Falun Gong. Except for Ms. Li Chunhua, the other nine practitioners all had their homes ransacked and their computers, printers, Falun Gong books and cash confiscated.
The nine practitioners are Mr. Wang Qiang, Mr. Liu Qinju, Ms. Guan Yanfeng, Ms. Dong Yurun, Ms. Li Meizhi, Mr. Zeng Jianjiang, Ms. Liu Guizhi, Ms. Ren Shuzhi and Ms. Gu Fengqin.
Ms. Guan, Ms. Dong, and Ms. Li Meizhi remain in custody at the time of writing.
In addition to arresting the ten practitioners, the same police officers also harassed five practitioners at home and confiscated their Falun Gong related items during those two days.
The five practitioners are Ms. Wang Yanling, Ms. Li Yulan, Ms. Yu Jinfeng, Ms. Gao Lixia, and Ms. Zhao Qiujie.
