(Minghui.org) Four Falun Gong practitioners in Meizhou City, Guangdong Province, were harassed by the local authorities around July 17, 2020, after they were reportedly recorded by surveillance cameras for distributing and putting up information about Falun Gong.
Falun Gong, also known as Falun Dafa, is an ancient spiritual and meditation discipline that has been persecuted by the Chinese communist regime since 1999.
Ms. Lin Lunzhu, in her 70s, was harassed at home around 9 a.m. The police videotaped her home and confiscated her Falun Gong books and magazines. They attempted to force Ms. Lin to reveal who printed the books and materials for her, but she refused to comply.
Two other practitioners who live in the same village, Ms. Zhang Zhenyun, 59, and Ms. Wang Xianghua, 56, were also harassed and had their Falun Gong books and materials confiscated.
The name of and details about the fourth practitioner, who recently moved to Meizhou from out-of-town, remain to be investigated.
