(Minghui.org) I clarify the truth and spread the Great Law in my barbershop. I keep DVDs with information about Falun Dafa in my shop, and people can watch the NTD television channel here to learn about the Falun Dafa practice and how it is persecuted by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP). They are blessed after learning the facts and repeating, “Falun Dafa is good.”
I will share a few stories to show Master Li’s compassion.
My Neighbor Is Blessed
Mr. Huang is a businessman. He lives across the road from my barbershop. He and his wife love to come over to get their hair cut.
In 2000, Mr. Huang came to my shop to borrow the informational DVD. He told me that his wife had watched it in my shop and learned facts about Falun Dafa when she was getting a haircut the day before. They understand that Falun Dafa was good, that it had spread throughout the world, and that only the CCP suppressed it. A few days later, he told me that he’d given the DVD he’d borrowed to his classmates, so they could learn the facts about Falun Dafa.
In those days, the CCP’s slander and persecution of Falun Dafa were rampant. Mr. Huang was blessed for telling others the truth about Dafa. His business in building materials did very well. He and his partner started the business in a rented house and now they own two building material departments, with all kinds of goods for building or repairing a home. His wife opened a multi-story hotel that is also doing well. They own their buildings, too. They are regarded as successful people. I am happy for them and glad that they tell people about Falun Dafa. They are not afraid of the CCP.
Wife Forgives Her Husband and They Get Back Together
A couple in another town had two businesses. One was the wife’s fabric store and the other was the husband’s tea house. Then they took out a home equity loan so the husband could do business in a housing development in the city. Influenced by the bad moral standards, the husband had an affair with a woman in her 20s.
One day, the wife couldn’t reach her husband, so she went to the city to look for him.
Her husband’s business later failed and he had a fight with his mistress. He knelt in front of his wife and begged for forgiveness. She was very angry because they’d put up their house as security for the loan and now their savings were gone and their money had been wasted. They had to leave their hometown.
She and her children lived in an apartment at the end of a secluded alley behind my barbershop. She started selling salt, soy sauce, and other miscellaneous daily items to get by. She made very little money.
She felt miserable. After a few years, she started to have health issues. She felt dizzy, had a hard time falling asleep, and was about to collapse. Some people suggested she should take revenge on her husband or his mistress. She didn’t know what to do.
Around that time, someone suggested that she talk to me. She came to my shop and cried as she told me about her suffering. Using Falun Dafa principles, I helped her understand why she had problems. I told her that everything in life is predetermined and that it is a virtue to tolerate others and face difficulties together. It would not be good for her children if she and her husband were to get divorced. As the biological parents, they were the best people to bring up their two sons. I also told her to sincerely recite, “Falun Dafa is good, Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good” and she would be blessed and regain her health. She told me that talking with people usually tired her out, but she felt good this time and told me later that she slept that night.
She came to chat with me often. She eventually forgave her husband, who returned, and they lived together in peace.
A Former Classmate and Her Family Are Blessed
I told a former classmate who was living a trying life how wonderful Dafa is. But she’d been deceived by the propaganda and the CCP’s lies and laughed at me behind my back.
In 2009, I went to her home and met her mother who was in her 70s. She was very sick and worried about her son who had recently divorced because his wife had an affair. She was half paralyzed, couldn’t control her bladder, and often wet her pants. The house smelled bad. The grandchildren hated the situation, cried, and complained to me.
I told the elderly woman the facts about Falun Dafa and described my personal experiences as an adherent. Her mind was clear and she believed what I said. She held my hands like she was meeting a long-lost relative. I told her to recite, “Falun Dafa is good, Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good.” I also gave her a Falun Dafa amulet, which she accepted respectfully.
A few days later, my classmate called me to let me know that her mother’s health had improved and she was even able to pull weeds in the field. After witnessing the extraordinary power of Falun Dafa, she wanted to thank me and thank Master Li, the founder and teacher of Falun Dafa, for blessing her mother. She came to my shop to get her hair permed and asked for a copy ofZhuan Falun, the main book of Falun Dafa. She and her husband eventually started to practice Falun Dafa. Their ailments were cured, and now they also tell people about Falun Dafa.
Comprehensive Municipal Government Office Director Smiled
One afternoon, two men came to my shop for a haircut. The one in his 50s was Mr. Chen, a comprehensive municipal government office director, who often came to me to get his hair cut. I’d chatted with him quite a bit but hadn’t yet had a chance to talk to him about Falun Dafa.
When I was cutting the younger man’s hair, he said that Mr. Chen had recommended me highly—that I was very nice, I was a good barber, and my prices were reasonable. He felt relaxed in my shop because I didn’t promote shampooing or try to sell hair products or services like other barbershops do. I told him that I was a Falun Dafa practitioner and that all my health problems were cured after I started cultivating and living by Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance. I told him the facts about the practice. He said he understood that the CCP had lied, that Falun Dafa is actually good, because he saw integrity and kindness in me, a real practitioner.
It took nearly an hour to cut his hair so I was able to tell him the basic facts about the practice and the persecution. He was very happy with his haircut. All along, I had been observing Mr. Chen’s reaction. When I talked about Falun Dafa to his friend, his face darkened and he seemed to be afraid. As his friend and I chatted, Mr. Chen also heard about Falun Dafa, and he seemed more friendly. He even smiled.
Before they left, I told the young man to recite, “Falun Dafa is good, Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good” and his life would be happy and peaceful. I looked at Mr. Chen as I said this, and Mr. Chen smiled, nodded, and thanked me, too.
The Comprehensive Municipal Government Office is involved in persecuting Falun Dafa practitioners. It was thanks to Master Li’s ingenious arrangement that I was able to save these two men, who left my shop with no bad thoughts about Falun Dafa. Revered Master Li is merciful to every sentient being, including those who’ve been deceived by the Party and participated in the persecution of Falun Dafa.
Over the 20 years that I have been cultivating my character, I have experienced many things. However, whether I am at home or in a detention center, I always adhere to Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance, which is in stark contrast to the lies perpetrated by the CCP. That makes it possible for predestined people to witness the beauty of the Great Law, and they can then tell their families that Falun Dafa practitioners are good people.
