1. [Shijiazhuang City, Hebei Province] Mr. Fan Ruihai Arrested
Mr. Fan Ruihai from Xingtang County was observed pasting stickers with information about Falun Dafa on October 10, 2022 and was arrested by the county special police around 9 p.m. that day. He is being held in the Xingtang County Detention Center.
2. [Chongqing] Mr. Fu Zhongbi Sentenced to Three Years and Three Months in Prison
Ms. Fu Zhongbi, 75, from Yubei District, was sentenced to three years and three months in prison and fined 5,000 yuan by the Jiangbei District Court. She appealed to the No. 1 Chongqing Intermediate Court in April 2022 and received a courier on October 24, 2022 stating that her appeal was rejected, and the original sentence was upheld. Ms. Fu is now appealing to the Chongqing High Court.
3. [Linqing City, Shandong Province] The Cases Against Mr. Xu Hengkui and Mr. Han Zhenlin Submitted to the Procuratorate
Mr. Xu Hengkui from Guan County and Mr. Han Zhenlin from Linqing City were released on bail for medical treatment in June 2022 and in early September 2022, respectively. Their cases have now been submitted to the Guan County Procuratorate.
4. [Jingmen City, Hubei Province] Mr. Liu Deyu and Bai Weiyun Tried in Court
Mr. Liu Deyu and Bai Weiyun (gender unknown) were tried by the Dongbao District Court on the morning of October 28, 2022. Mr. Liu Deyu was taken to a detention center and was tried online.
5. [Liaocheng City, Shandong Province] The Cases Against Ms. Zhou Yongmei and Ms. Meng Guifen Submitted to the Procuratorate
Ms. Zhou Yongmei and Ms. Meng Guifen from Daduan Village of Liangshui Town were arrested by officers from Liangshui Town on March 26, 2022, after they distributed information about Falun Gong. Their homes were ransacked. They were released on bail pending trial. Their cases have been submitted to the Dong’a Procuratorate.
6. [Xiangcheng City, Henan Province] The Case Against Ms. Xia Dongmei Submitted to the Procuratorate
The case against Ms. Xia Dongmei was submitted to the procuratorate. When her lawyer contacted prosecutor Han Hui recently, Han said that she was no longer in charge of the case and asked that practitioners outside China stop calling her.
Jin, head of the Xiangcheng Domestic Security Division, and deputy Li Wenfa also received overseas phone calls. They claimed that those calls would be used as evidence against Ms. Xia.
7. [Qingdao City, Shandong Province] Ms. Yu Chunli and Mr. Wang Guohui Arrested
Ms. Yu Chunli and Mr. Wang Guohui from Chengyang District were arrested at midnight on October 27, 2022. It is unknown where they are detained.
8. [Bazhong City, Sichuan Province] Ms. Yi Yinzhen Arrested and Detained
Ms. Yi Yinzhen and an elderly practitioner in her 90s from the Enyang District, were reported to police for talking about Falun Gong outside the Yushan Town Supermarket in mid-April 2022. She was recognized via surveillance cameras by officers in Enyang District and was arrested at home. Her home was ransacked. The police confiscated her Falun Gong books and more than 100 yuan in one-yuan paper bills imprinted with information about Falun Gong. She was detained in the Pingchang County Detention Center and has since been released.
9. [Weifang City, Shandong Province] Ms. Shi Juntao Faces Trial
Ms. Shi Juntao was originally scheduled to be tried in the Fangzi District Court at 2 p.m. on October 24, 2022. Because her lawyer was unable to attend due to the pandemic, the hearing was rescheduled to 9 a.m. on November 4, 2022.
10. [Yangyuan County, Hebei Province] Mr. Sun Yuming Harassed
Wang Qiang, head of the Gaoqiang Township Political and Legal Affairs Committee, led several people to Mr. Sun Yuming’s home in February 2022. No one was at home. They pried open the security door and entered the home. They videotaped and photographed around and stole more than 10,000 yuan in cash.
Those people came to harass Mr. Sun later, on multiple occasions. They went to Mr. Sun’s home on September 8, 2022, and confiscated two copies of Zhuan Falun and a cross-stitched artwork on the wall with the words “Falun Dafa is good.”
11. [Changsha City, Hunan Province] Ms. Xiao Deying Arrested
Ms. Xiao Deying was arrested at her rented property by four officers from the Kaifu District Police Department at 1 a.m. on October 17, 2022. She is still detained.
12. [Dalian City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Song Shuyan’s Pension Withheld
The Dailian Social Security Bureau withheld 64,134.02 yuan from Ms. Song Shyuan’s pension in October 2020. Ms. Song was in prison from November 2008 to November 2011.
13. [Foshan City, Guangdong Province] Ms. Li Lina’s Home Ransacked
Yan Weiyuan and two other police officers from the Chancheng Police Department went to Ms. Li Lina’s home at noon on October 23, 2022. They ransacked her home and confiscated two Falun Gong books, two computers, one printer and other personal belongings.
