(Minghui.org) Falun Dafa practitioners in Arkansas USA have participated in many community events since September 2022, promoting Falun Dafa and clarifying the truth about the ongoing persecution of Falun Dafa in China.
Practitioners in Little Rock rented a table located in the cafeteria of the University of Arkansas in Little Rock (UALR) during lunchtime to introduce Falun Dafa and the ongoing persecution. Most of the students had never heard about Dafa. They were shocked to hear about the unprecedented persecution of Falun Dafa by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and couldn’t believe what they heard. They thanked the practitioners for sharing the information with them.
Practitioners did the same at the University of Central Arkansas (UCA) in Conway, about a 40-minute drive from Little Rock. Many students had lunch at the school cafeteria and almost every student who passed by the Falun Dafa table received a flier.
Falun Dafa practitioners participated in one of the largest community activities in Little Rock, the Hillcrest Fest, in October. Thousands of people attend this event every year. Many people know about the persecution of Falun Dafa in China. One of the middle-aged men said to a practitioner that he had heard a lot about Falun Dafa, and said, “They suffer unprecedented persecution in China, and more people should be informed about it.
There were also teenage siblings who appeared to be Chinese. The elder sister said that they were both adopted by an American woman at a Chinese orphanage. They had never heard of Falun Dafa, let alone that people would be arrested by the police in China for practicing Falun Dafa.
Practitioners in Little Rock also participated in the community event in Cabot during the past years. A western man listened carefully to the facts and wanted to understand exactly what was happening in China. He said that the western culture lacked knowledge of meditation and cultivation. He wanted to learn the exercises very much and drove 40 minutes to the park the following Saturday to learn the exercises.

Many people came to the event, although it rained heavily in Russellville. Many people passed by the Falun Dafa booth and curiously asked what Dafa was about.
Another woman said that she was interested in learning about cultivation and its associated meditation.
A young woman had lived in China for three years with her husband who taught English in a middle school. She said that they had paid a lot of attention to whatever they said while in China and that it was important that they were providing truthful information about Falun Dafa during this event.
