(Minghui.org) I started cultivating Falun Dafa in 1996. Before I started practicing Dafa, I had been plagued by many illnesses and had been in so much pain that I had tried to take my own life twice. I believe Master was watching over me and saved me each time. Two months after I began cultivating Falun Dafa, my illnesses all disappeared without any medical intervention. No words can describe how grateful I am to Master. Only by cultivating diligently and doing the three things well can I repay Master for saving me.
I would like to share some of my recent understandings from cultivation. Please kindly point out anything that is not in accordance with the Fa.
Awakening After Watching Shen Yun’s Last Dance Program
I wanted to save more people the day before the Chinese New Year. I usually help more than 20 predestined Chinese people quit the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and its affiliated organizations on Chinese New Year Day. I team up with another practitioner to go save more sentient beings, because she has transportation. We can usually help about 40 people quit the CCP and its affiliated organizations each day. We had planned to go to the morning market on Chinese New Year Eve, since a lot of people would be buying groceries. But to my dismay, it began to snow heavily in the morning and it was hard for anyone to walk outside. Around 8 a.m., my husband said, “Who are you going to save today? Look at the heavy snow outside. You should just take a break today.”
I normally never take a day off in regard to saving sentient beings, unless there were special circumstances. After hearing what my husband said, I looked out the window and barely saw any pedestrians. I decided to save more sentient beings the following day to compensate for what I would miss today. I was hindered by my attachments, instead of fulfilling my holy historic mission.
A practitioner took time off from his busy schedule to come fix my television. When he finished fixing it, I looked at the time and saw that the day was almost over. I looked out the window and barely saw anyone on the streets. I thought I would just stay home and watch Shen Yun on New Tang Dynasty Television. I was shocked after watching the last dance program. During the previous couple of years' performances, Master would appear at the end and stop a great calamity. This year, Master appeared after buildings had collapsed and countless people were buried in flames. Why did Master appear after the calamity?
I was shocked and remembered a section of Master’s Fa.
Master said,
“The Fa-rectification of the celestial bodies is complete, and it is now transitioning to the Fa-rectification of the human realm.” (“Wake Up”)
“However, during this process, there will be many beings with a lot of karma as well as followers of the evil Communist Party who will be completely eliminated.” (“Wake Up”)
The Fa rectification of the human realm is about to start at this imminent moment and yet I am still enjoying being with my family. There are still so many sentient beings waiting to be saved. I felt quite guilty. Master, I am truly sorry for just enlightening to your teachings. Sentient beings are waiting for us so they can be saved. How many lives missed their chance to be saved because I made the decision to stay at home? I am truly regretful.
Waiting to Be Saved by Falun Dafa Practitioners
On the third day of the Chinese New Year, I continuously sent forth righteous thoughts on my way to save sentient beings. I encountered a man and greeted him, “Happy New Year!” He was happy and wished me the same. I asked, “Have you heard about withdrawing from the CCP and its affiliated organizations to stay safe?” He said, “No, I have not. What do you mean?”
I explained, “This pandemic and the natural disasters are directed at the corrupt CCP officials. Without withdrawing from the CCP organizations, you could be implicated along with those bad people. Have you joined any CCP organizations?” He said yes.
I continued, “You can withdraw from those organizations from the bottom of your heart and steer away from disaster. The Heavens will protect the good from the evil.”
He happily agreed to quit. I also told him about the CCP's staged self immolation on Tiananmen Square and how Jiang Zemin, former head of the CCP, persecuted Falun Dafa practitioners. After taking in what I told him, he condemned the perpetrators. I also told him to remember the two phrases “Falun Dafa is good. Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good.”
I reminded him to spread the truth about Falun Dafa to his friends and family so they could also stay safe. He happily agreed. I was grateful for Master’s arrangements.
I continued walking forward and came across a middle-aged man sweeping snow from his doorstep. I greeted him and then told him about quitting the CCP and its affiliated organizations and the truth about Falun Dafa. He said, “I've never heard about Falun Dafa or withdrawing from the Party. I once joined the Young Pioneers and would like to withdraw from it. Thank you for telling me about this.”
I said, “Please thank my Master instead. It is my Master who asks us to save more predestined people. The pandemic will disintegrate the CCP and Dafa will protect good people.” He was very grateful, and another sentient being was saved.
An elderly well-dressed gentleman walked toward me. I greeted him and told him about withdrawing from the CCP and its affiliated organizations. He said, “Don’t tell me about this. I am a veteran CCP official.” I replied, “There is a saying that one should take something as real rather than nonexistent. It is the law of Heaven to reward good and punish evil. The CCP has done countless evil deeds and Heaven will punish the CCP. The pandemic and the natural disasters are caused by the bad people. Do you remember back when we used to watch movies about Chinese emperors? Emperors would always repent when there were natural calamities or disasters and think about what they had done wrong. People would have a good harvest the year after the emperor repented. Don’t you agree?”
The elderly man nodded.
I continued, “Ever since CCP took power, it instigated numerous movements and killed countless innocent lives. Most CCP officials are corrupt and do not care about the lives of Chinese citizens. They have done so many bad deeds, and these disasters are caused by them. When it is time for Heaven to disintegrate the CCP, you will also be implicated because you once swore to give your entire life to the CCP. I know that you were an official, and you look like a righteous official.”
He said, “I have never done anything against my conscience.”
I said, “You’ve encountered a Dafa disciple and learned the truth about Dafa because you are a righteous official. You look like a man with upright moral character. I will give you a pseudonym to help you quit the CCP and its affiliated organizations. What do you think?”
The elderly man said, “Good, I believe you.”
I continued clarifying the truth to him about Falun Dafa in more depth. I told him to remember the two phrases, “Falun Dafa is good. Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good.” I told him to stay safe.
I clarified the truth to whoever I ran into and helped them quit the CCP and its affiliated organizations, regardless of their age.
There was a lady who proved to be quite challenging for me to clarify the truth to because she had been severely brainwashed by the Party.
She said, “I don't believe in anything. The CCP supports my living costs. It is not easy to be a good person.” She told me her sister was a good person, but passed away because of cancer.
I kept walking with her in the opposite direction to my home because I wanted to be able to save her. She kept talking and refused to listen to me. We walked for a long time before I stopped and stood in place. She was still talking, and I had thoughts about giving up on her. But on second thought, I set my mind on saving her. I patiently waited while she talked for about 20 minutes. When she finally paused, I said, “It is lunch time and I need to go home to prepare lunch.”
I took this opportunity and clarified the truth to her. She finally agreed and said, “Yes, I've heard what you’ve told me. I will quit the CCP and its affiliated organizations.”
Thank you, Master, for helping me save another sentient being.
I remind every person to spread the truth about Falun Dafa to their friends and family. Word of mouth is the best way, and it has proved to have great results.
Treasuring Saving Sentient Beings Every Day
I meet another practitioner, Ying, on the fourth day of the Chinese New Year. Ying told me that her older sister went out and clarified the truth to more than 20 people on Chinese New Year’s Day and came back around 1 a.m. Ying’s older sister was the one who had helped me find someone to fix my television. I felt ashamed after hearing that other practitioners were altruistic and went to save sentient beings despite the harsh winter weather.
I hope that practitioners who aren’t using time diligently can eliminate the attachment of being lazy and get rid of sentiment for our children and grandchildren. Master is compassionate and has sacrificed a lot for the practitioners who have slacked off in cultivation. Let's not disappoint Master. We should treasure the remaining time and be diligent like other practitioners. Do the three things well, save more sentient beings and strive to be more diligent in cultivation!
Master said,
“Clarifying the facts and saving sentient beings are what you need to accomplish. There is nothing else for you to accomplish. There is nothing else in this world that you need to accomplish.” (“Fa Teaching Given at the 2015 New York Fa Conference”)
Let's be worthy of Master’s merciful and laborious salvation and not forget our historic vows. We should accomplish our historic missions, do the three things well and save more sentient beings.
Conclusion
I hadn't planned to write this experience-sharing article at first, but while clarifying the truth I realized that some practitioners do not have a sense of urgency, and some don't even want to say that they are practitioners. Some had done very well initially, but fear had set in and they now don't often go to clarify the truth. Some practitioners have been dragged down by the attachment to their grandchildren, and when I see this I feel really anxious.
I always gain insights from reading other practitioners' articles, so I thought that I can't always gain without putting in any effort myself. I decided to share my experiences in the hope that it may benefit other practitioners. Scenes of what I’ve described above flashed into my mind like a movie while I was writing, and it made me unable to calm down. Especially when I thought about all that Master has done for me. I felt so ashamed that tears rolled down my cheeks. I was covered in tears while writing my experience sharing.
Those practitioners who have not cultivated well need to wake up. We should not waste each and every second. We should treasure doing the three things well and save more sentient beings. Let's not disappoint sentient beings. With the remaining time left, we should assist Master in saving sentient beings and fulfill our historic missions. We will return home with Master, to our true homes.
