(Minghui.org) I was placed on the police wanted list four years ago, and my personal information was posted on the Internet. In my two years of wandering from place to place, I never forgot that I was a Falun Dafa practitioner, a life created by Dafa. No matter where I was, I kept in mind to do the three things well and not forget the mission and responsibility of a Dafa disciple.
Although I frequently encountered dangerous situations and was often troubled by a mentality of fear, Master Li (Dafa’s founder) saw my firm belief and always protected and cared for me. No matter where I was, I was able to go to the Minghui website. I studied the Fa through reading e-books on my phone, sent forth righteous thoughts, and used every opportunity to clarify the truth to help Master Li save people.
Veteran CCP Member Quits the Party
I once met the owner of a department store, and as soon as I mentioned the Chinese Communist Party (CCP), he got upset and blurted out, “The CCP is so evil! It harms the Chinese people and has done all manner of bad things. It is much worse than bandits!” I told him to remember, ‘Falun Dafa is good, Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good’. He agreed, “Falun Dafa is good! Falun Dafa is definitely good!”
As he already understood the truth, I didn’t say much more and gave him a memory card that contained truth-clarification videos. However, he feared that the CCP would find out. It’s really pitiful, as the Chinese people have been frightened by the CCP’s long-term tyranny. Even though many people despise the Party, they can’t do anything but swallow the bitterness. I told him that it was safe, and the CCP wouldn’t be able to find out about the memory card. I helped him load it on his phone, and he began to watch the videos.
I was once walking up a hill and saw several crop fields. A senior, close to my age, was weeding them. I walked over and greeted him, “Brother, you are doing this so thoroughly. Take a seat and have a rest.”
He raised his head and walked over, “I don’t have much to do at home,” he responded. “Doing some work can help me exercise, and I feel better eating things that I grow myself.” I asked if those were his fields. “No,” he replied, “It all belongs to a neighbor of mine. He went out to look after his grandchildren and asked me to take care of the fields for him. I did some work, but they felt bad and wanted to just give the land to me. How could I take their land? I just help them plant things and if they grow well, we each take some and give the rest to our relatives and friends.”
“You are such a good person!” I commented. “There are not many people like you today. I want to tell you some life-saving words. If you can remember ‘Falun Dafa is good, Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good’, it will keep you safe and healthy.”
“I agree with everything you said,” he replied. “A person should be kind, sincere, and tolerant. Families and society all should be like this.” When I asked if he knew about Falun Dafa, he remarked, “There were a lot of people practicing Falun Dafa back then. But why would the CCP suppress it? Most practitioners I saw were seniors. Why would they arrest old women for practicing Falun Dafa? Wasn’t it just exercising? They didn’t do anything illegal.”
I explained, “The Communist Manifesto says that communism is a ghost. The CCP relies on lies and violence to rule the country. It is afraid of people knowing the truth. It has destroyed China’s 5,000 years of civilization. All traditional values, such as loyalty, filial piety, etiquette, justice, and integrity are gone. In all of its political movements, the Party has caused the deaths of 80 million Chinese people. The CCP is now persecuting Falun Dafa, and it staged the Tiananmen Square self-immolation incident. It even harvests the organs of living Falun Dafa practitioners for profit. I’m guessing that you are a CCP member?”
With a sigh, he elaborated, “Yeah, for dozens of years. This Party doesn’t allow others to say anything different. It has always been bogus and corrupt. It’s afraid that people will know the real story. Of course people won’t like it.” When I asked what job he used to do, he replied, “I used to be the director of a large state-owned factory. I’ve been retired for a few years now.”
“You are a very good person,” I responded. “The CCP has done a lot of bad things and will be punished by heaven. Over 300 million people have quit the CCP and its youth organizations. You should quit too! Many people use pseudonyms to submit online, which is totally fine. Let me give you the name ‘the righteous way’ to quit the Party?” He readily agreed.
It is not easy to have worked for dozens of years in a Party leadership position and yet still maintain integrity and be able to distinguish right from wrong, and see the evil nature of the CCP. I was very happy for him.
Clarifying the Truth at a Classmate’s Reunion
Master said:
“The power of true compassion can dissolve all deviant factors, and when you talk with a person you will be emitting energy outwardly that dissolves evil things, and the evil in other dimensions will not dare to approach or control that person anymore.” (“Fa Teaching Given in Manhattan,” Collected Teachings Given Around the World, Volume X)
I met a young cashier at a store. He saw the phrases “Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good,” and “Falun Dafa is good” written on the paper currency I gave him, and exclaimed, “Falun Dafa!”
I said firmly, “It looks like you don’t understand what Falun Dafa is!” As soon as I spoke, he seemed to become afraid and hurried away.
On another day, I was riding my motorcycle to meet a practitioner. A large truck was on my side of the road forcing me onto the shoulder, which was covered with gravel. I was losing control, as my bike swayed either toward the truck or the ditch. I was very nervous, but I didn’t think of asking Master to help me. I just kept saying loudly, “Falun Dafa is good, Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good!” The truck passed, and I got safely back on the road. I was still a little scared when I thought about it later on.
Master arranged for me to have a small gathering with my junior high school classmates, whom I had not seen in 40 years. I met with Qiao, one of my classmates. He was very happy to see me, as he didn’t expect that I would come all the way for this. He called the other classmates over and scheduled a small gathering at his home the next day. I told him about Falun Dafa, and although he didn’t fully believe what I told him, he allowed me to clarify the truth to his guests the next day.
Eight classmates arrived that day. After not seeing each other for such a long time, as most of us had now become grandparents, it had not been easy to get together. We went to a well-known restaurant in the county. After sitting down, Qiao said to me in front of everyone, “Go ahead and tell our classmates about it before it gets crowded in here [the restaurant].”
I knew his intentions were good. The CCP has deceived so many people about Falun Dafa, and he was worried that other patrons in the restaurant would hear me and cause trouble. I talked about the great spread of Falun Dafa around the world, the staged Tiananmen Square self-immolation incident, and the CCP’s forced organ harvesting from living Falun Dafa practitioners. When we were about done eating, the restaurant again became less crowded and Qiao said, “If you have more things to tell everyone, say it quickly.”
I brought up the importance of quitting the CCP and its youth organizations, and asked my classmates to remember “Falun Dafa is good, Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good.” A few of them agreed to quit the Party right away. I also gave each classmate a QR code to circumvent China’s Internet firewall, so they could seek more truthful information online.
During these two years, I have met practitioners in many places to study the Fa and share our experiences. I was inspired by how diligently they were in cultivation, and it allowed me to see my shortcomings and many attachments.
Without Master’s compassionate protection, I would not be able to do anything. I hope we can all be more diligent in cultivation from now on. We have great responsibilities as Dafa disciples, and we can only live up to Master’s expectations if we do the three things well. No matter how much time there is left, or how difficult and dangerous the environment is, my will of assisting Master in Fa-rectification and returning home with him will never change.
