(Minghui.org) Practitioner Jia [alias] had been suffering from stomach discomfort and vomiting, and could not eat. This prevented her from doing the three things that Falun Dafa practitioners are required to do. Her husband and son couldn’t do anything to make her feel better. She was in pain.
Fellow practitioners were worried about her, especially Bing [alias], who was in the same Fa-study group and had worked with her on truth-clarification projects. Bing sent emails to her several times a day, encouraging her to come out to validate the Fa. Jia was so weak that she didn’t have the strength to reply. As a result, other practitioners got even more anxious and worried.
Master said:
“The next person’s things are your things, and your things are his things.” (Fa Teaching Given at the 2002 Conference in Washington, D.C., Collected Teachings Given around theWorld, Volume II)
I decided to bring Jia to my home. When she arrived, I made her a bowl of noodles. She ate it all and didn’t vomit. At about 3:15 a.m., the next morning, I asked her to get up and do the exercises. We did all five sets of exercises without stopping. In fact, I usually couldn’t get up that early. When Jia came, I became more diligent.
Bing came to stay with us for a night. The three of us studied the Fa, did the exercises, and sent forth righteous thoughts together. The effect was quite good.
I found related lectures by Master for Jia to read, and shared cultivation experiences. Jia looked inward in all aspects. She realized that she did not have enough compassion for her husband. Although she took care of him by doing all the chores around the house, she was unhappy even though she did not complain, but the family could feel it. She also recalled that she once cooperated with the police under pressure at a detention center. She wrote a “solemn declaration” and sent it to the Minghui website.
Jia stayed at my house for five days. During that time, we distributed truth-clarification materials in the community. Although she was still a little weak, she did the three things well.
Thanks to Master’s compassion, Jia got over the serious illness karma in a little over month. Thank you Master!
When it comes to Ding [alias], the police have harassed her at home several times over the past two years. During the pandemic, she and her daughter (a fellow practitioner) distributed truth clarification materials in the community. They were reported, but were able to escape. The police captured their actions on security camera, went to her home to detain her, but she refused to open the door. She then came to stay with me for eleven days.
This time the police called her home again and told her to go to the police station. In order to prevent the police from doing bad things and committing crimes, she stayed at my house for another five days. She focused on studying the Fa, doing the morning exercises, and still went out to clarify the truth face-to-face. She also participated in the weekly group Fa study at my house. From studying the Fa, she realized she had strong attachments to mother-daughter relationship, personal gain, fears, and resentment towards her son in-law.
Once she found these attachments, she tried her best to eliminate them and correct herself. As a result, her xinxing improved. The local police stopped harassing her, and the matter of detention was dropped.
Having fellow practitioners stay in my home proved to be a great help in my own cultivation and improvement. Although I encountered some inconvenience, wasn’t this a good opportunity to get rid of my fear of having trouble, and selfishness?
Nothing happens by chance. When fellow practitioners encounter difficulties, they come to my home and stay for a few days to adjust, correct, and enrich themselves in the Fa. It is a great honor for me, and it is also the greatest trust that fellow practitioners can give me.
