(Minghui.org) In participating in the Internet Telephone Truth-clarification Project, I was one who was computer illiterate and did not know how to use a mouse or send an email, can now help other practitioners participate in the project using computers. I have undergone various xinxing tests during the process.

Improving My Xinxing and Computer Skills

The Internet Telephone team coordinator asked me to lead the first shift. I politely declined because I had no management experience, and thus didn’t know how to go about it. She said directly, “I’ve given you the authority. Please be in charge.” I understood that it was a great responsibility, and I must do well.

She gave me a team duty schedule one day and asked me to fill out the web form. I did it wrong and apologized to her. She said, “Who doesn’t make mistakes?” She corrected it and encouraged me to do well next time. She cared about the team very much and told me to lead the team well.

I took her words seriously and was determined to do well, even though I had no experience. I learned from my daughter and created a new group on my phone. I sent training notices and shared links to experience-sharing articles with the group. This way I established a close connection with my team.

The team has grown larger over time. Another practitioner told me, “The project platform is so good. The atmosphere is peaceful and everyone takes the initiative to help others.” I know this is the power of working as one body, and we help one another solve problems on time.

We routinely exchange insights after sending forth righteous thoughts. We write down problems that arise during phone calls and then share them during our Wednesday team meeting. The project is maturing, becoming professional and streamlined. Practitioners work well with one another. Our ability to save people is strong.

As I was transferred to the Internet Telephone team I often missed my old team. I realized it was an attachment to sentiment. When I ran into difficulties, I wanted to give up and excuse myself from facing them. I sometimes felt being the team lead was too challenging.

When I asked the other practitioners to write experience-sharing articles, some claimed that they didn’t have time. I looked within and found I had the same problem, which was finding excuses to avoid writing an article.

After I memorized the Fa for a while, I understood the importance of writing experience-sharing papers for Fa conferences. The process of writing the paper will help me look at myself more deeply, and identify my problems. This is cultivating myself.

Improving Myself When Working with Practitioners

By teaching new team members how to make truth-clarification phone calls on the Internet, I learned how to give demonstrations and communicate with other practitioners online.

To teach practitioners in other countries who know very little Chinese, we summarized 60 essential conversational phrases. I first used software to translate them into English, and then asked my daughter and granddaughter to polish them. These phrases helped make the communications between us and practitioners in other countries smoother.

Some practitioners, especially the elderly, didn’t know how to use a computer, and it took a lot of patience to teach them. I complained to the coordinator, “They’re too slow, let’s find someone else.” The coordinator said, “They are also here to save people.”

I thought I tried my best, but how come things did not change? I looked within and realized that I had an attachment to differentiating. We all are Dafa practitioners and both elderly and young practitioners have the mission to save people.

I calmed my mind and looked inside. I realized that I lacked compassion toward fellow practitioners. I recalled when I first joined the platform, the team lead was so patient and kind and taught me everything. I should be kind and compassionate too, and pass on everything that I learned to fellow practitioners.

In addition to computer skills, our team members help and encourage one another in persuading people to quit the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and its youth organizations. Thus, we achieve successful cases every day.

Sometimes, practitioners take turns asking for my help, and I improved my computer skills a lot in the process. Thank you, Master, for arranging this precious opportunity for me.

In addition, I discovered a lot of attachments, such as the attachment to doing things, laziness, depending on others, and being fond of watching TV dramas. All of the aforementioned were attachments that I had not let go of yet.

I fell one morning in May 2021. I got up and thought, “It’s okay, I’m a practitioner.” I came to realize that only by doing the three things well and at the same time looking inward and cultivating ourselves well and not being obsessed with things among everyday people can we save more sentient beings.

The coordinator once told me, “Do you know anything about QR code scanning? Can you send this QR code to other practitioners?” I said, “Yes! I know how to take screenshots and scan QR codes.” This statement reflected my show-off mentality and jealousy.

As it turned out, I forgot everything I previously learned about taking screenshots and scanning QR codes, and I had to ask my daughter for help. My daughter helped copy it for me, and I sent it to practitioners outside the country.

The practitioners replied, “Got it! I can send and receive messages, but my account was restricted. It did not work.” I sent another one, but it still didn’t work as expected. This happened several times. In the end, it turned out that it didn’t work because I forgot to click a button as the last step.

I immediately asked the practitioners to correct it, and it finally worked for them. It was 1:00 a.m. already. I recalled the thought of jealousy I had towards the coordinator, and I realized that was the reason for the hours of delay.

I realized the seriousness of the matter and shared my thoughts with the coordinator. I told her I did poorly and had jealousy towards her. We exchanged understandings. We both cherish the time we spent together on the project, and we thank Master for giving us the opportunity to improve.

Now more and more practitioners are joining the project, and our cooperation keeps getting better and better.

I also encountered many xinxing tests during phone calls; for example, people often won’t answer the phone, and some people refused to quit the CCP organizations. I know these are opportunities to improve myself. Sometimes I developed zealotry after successfully persuading several people to withdraw. I immediately saw the opposite result the next day.

I also realized the importance of Fa study. I strive to think of nothing when I am on the phone. Only by purifying myself can I effectively save people.

Learning to Interact with People

I attended the training to make non-scripted truth-clarification phone calls, and my daughter was my audience. I consulted with her after each phone call. She told me, “A good salesman must study how to say it before introducing the product to others.”

I was inspired and decided to record myself. I listened to the recording after each phone call and summarized the problems I had, such as the speed of my speech should be moderate, I should interact with people, greet them, and draw them closer, and so on.

At the beginning, I was nervous and spoke loudly. Some people asked, “Is this a real person talking?” I lowered my voice and added a pause from time to time. When people ask me where I am from, I reply that I am from Beijing; if they tell me where they are, I would find a way to draw them closer.

If they are in Sichuan Province, I mention the Leshan Giant Buddha and the hot and sour noodle soup. If they are from Shaanxi, I tell them how popular Shaanxi cold skin noodles are abroad; if they are from Yunnan, I talk about Yunnan Pu-erh tea, and ask them which kind can last longer, raw or ripe, and so on. By drawing us closer to each other this way, it is easier to clarify the truth and persuade them to withdraw from the CCP.

Doing the Three Things Well

I understand I must do the three things well as a Dafa practitioner. When my cultivation state is good, I’m on duty on the platform every day. I make phone calls at night, and I can successfully persuade people to withdraw from the CCP every day.

It is my responsibility to save sentient beings by using the telephone. I will study the Fa more and assimilate into Dafa. Our responsibility to save sentient beings is great, and we must cultivate ourselves well.

This concludes my limited understanding. Please point out anything improper.

Thank you, Master! Thank you, fellow practitioners!
