Kakakaua Avenue, the busiest street in Hawaii, features various specialty stores and luxury hotels, as well as street performances. Tourists stopped to learn about Falun Gong. After hearing about the CCP’s atrocities, people signed a petition calling for an end to the CCP’s persecution. Some took pictures to help spread the information.
A Chinese tourist was touched by the practitioners’ activities. He signed the petition and pressed his hands together in front of his chest to express his admiration for practitioners.

A musician told a practitioner that he was living by listening to beautiful music, and never thought such evil persecution existed in the world. He signed the petition to show his support for Falun Gong.
Maximus, a Hawaiian native, came to the booth to sign the petition. He said that he had been exposed to Falun Gong meditation as long as ten years ago, and had received Falun Gong fliers several times. He had heard about the CCP’s persecution, and was especially disgusted by the CCP atrocity of harvesting organs from living people. Maximus said he could tell Falun Gong practitioners were nice and peaceful people.
